A day with Pascal Langdale working extensively with creating characters for performance capture. A physical day of exercises exploring professional techniques for rapid character creation. We look at how to analyse movement and how to embody it. We study the needs of mocap and how to create performances that will deliver every time. You will leave with a solid understanding of how to develop characters quickly under pressure, how to create variety of movement, how to target your work depending on the needs of the project, as well of lots of exercises to practice on your own that will develop your skills over time and make you a better actor.

Time: 10am to 6pm on April 27th 2024

Location: The Attic Studio, 1402 Queen Street E, Toronto, ON, Suite C3 (3rd Floor)

Directions: Building entrance is through a side door down the alleyway beside Queen Margherita Pizza. The door will be on the right.

This class does not take place in a mocap studio as it would be surplus to need and additional cost at this stage. 

*Please note that this class does not make use of mocap technology. At this stage, the technology serves only as a distraction and slows down the process considerably. We introduce the mocap studio tech later on in our curriculum.
